Measured

Measured privacy policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026. Applies to Measured 1.0.0 for Chrome.

In short

What Measured is

Measured is a Chrome extension. You enter your underbust and bust measurements once. When you open a bra listing and click Measured's icon, it reads that listing and shows your size in the store's own labels, whether that size is in stock, and how sure it is.

What Measured saves, and where

Everything Measured saves is kept by Chrome on your device, in the extension's own storage. Nothing is saved anywhere else.

WhatWhyHow long
Your underbust and bust, and whether you entered them in inches or centimetresTo work out your sizeUntil you change or delete them
For listings you checked: the listing's address, the size chart and style Measured found, and the text it read them from (up to 200 listings)So the same listing answers quickly next timeRechecked after 36 hours; the oldest are removed past 200
A short record of the last 5 listings Measured read: the address, what each step found, and the size it showedTo diagnose a wrong answer if you report oneOnly the last 5 are kept
Brand names Measured did not recognise (up to 50), each with up to 3 addresses where it saw themTo help add brands later; you can only see this with developer toolsOnly the latest 50 are kept
Two settings: whether you have seen the rating tip, and a developer setting that is off unless turned on by hand (with it on, the time and address of the last forced re-check)To remember themUntil you delete them; the re-check note, 10 minutes
A size you chose yourself on a listing ("Choose a different size")To keep your choice while you shopUntil you close Chrome

What Measured reads from web pages

Measured reads a page only when you click its icon, and only the tab you clicked it on. It reads what the listing shows: the product's name and brand, the sizes offered and which are in stock, the listing's size chart, and its description. To read a size chart, it may open the listing's own size guide and close it again.

Two stores are the exception, because their sizes and stock can't be read after the page has loaded:

Measured never reads your measurements into a web page. They stay in the extension.

What leaves your device

Nothing Measured saves or reads is sent to Measured or to anyone else.

To answer, Measured sometimes asks the store you are on for more of that same listing's own information. These requests go only to that store (or, for Target's size chart, to Target's own chart page that the listing already links to), carry none of your data, and send no cookies:

The store sees these requests as it sees the page's own: from your browser, for the listing you have open. They never say which size is yours.

Reporting a wrong size

"Report a wrong size" opens an email in your own email program, addressed to Measured, with the listing's address and the size Measured showed. Your measurements are added only if you tick "Add my measurements". You can read and change the email before sending it, and nothing is sent unless you send it. Measured uses an email you send only to fix its sizing, and does not share it.

No accounts, tracking, ads or selling

Measured has no sign-in and no account. It has no analytics, no tracking, no ads and no affiliate links. It does not sell, rent or share your data, does not use it for anything but showing your size, and does not use it to judge credit or lending.

Deleting your data

Children

Measured is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If Measured ever changes what it saves, reads or sends, this policy will say so before the new version is released, with the date above changed, and the Chrome Web Store listing will be updated to match.
