Measured Size terms of use
Last updated: 8 October 2026. These terms cover Measured Size for Chrome, the website and bra size calculator at measuredsize.com, and the Measured Size fit API and MCP server at api.measuredsize.com.
In short
- Measured Size is free, and needs no account.
- Its sizes are guidance, not a promise that a bra will fit.
- It is not medical advice.
- Use the fit API and MCP server fairly, and say their answers are Measured Size's.
- The published summary tables can be reused under CC BY 4.0, with credit. Nothing else is licensed.
What Measured Size is
Measured Size works out a bra size from two measurements, underbust and bust, and gives it in each brand's own labels, with how sure it is. It comes in four parts:
- The Chrome extension, which reads the bra listing you have open and shows your size in that listing's labels, whether it is in stock, and how sure it is.
- The bra size calculator at measuredsize.com, which works out your size on the page.
- The fit API at api.measuredsize.com, for apps.
- The MCP server at api.measuredsize.com/mcp, for AI agents.
All four are free. "You" in these terms means anyone who uses any of them, including an app or agent and whoever runs it. By using Measured Size you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Sizes are guidance, not a guarantee of fit
- A size from Measured Size is its best reading of your measurements and the brand's published sizing. It is not a promise that a bra will fit you.
- It doesn't judge your shape, a style's cut, or how you like a bra to feel. Two people with the same measurements can wear different sizes.
- Brands and listings can differ from their own charts, and charts change. A style, a listing or a store's stock can differ from what the brand publishes, and Measured Size can read a listing wrongly.
- What the extension says about stock is what the listing showed when it was read, and stock can change.
- Every answer says how sure Measured Size is, and some answers are refusals: where it can't size you honestly, it says so rather than guess. Keep the confidence, and any refusal, with the size.
- Check the brand's own size chart and the store's returns policy before you buy. What you buy, and any return, exchange or refund, is between you and the store.
Not medical advice
Measured Size uses body measurements only to work out a clothing size. It is not medical advice, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. For pain, a change in your breasts, or a bra after surgery, ask a doctor or another health professional.
Using the fit API and MCP server
- No key or account is needed today. Heavy or commercial use may need a key later.
- Rate limits, availability, endpoints and answers can change, and the service can pause or stop, at any time and without notice. The current limit is on the method page.
- Don't abuse it. That means no overloading it, no attempts to break it or find weaknesses in it, no attempts to get around its limits (for example by spreading requests over many addresses), and no use that breaks the law.
- Don't claim its answers are your own engine's, or anyone else's. Where you show an answer, name Measured Size as its source, and keep each size's badge and reason, or its refusal and reason, with it.
- Measured Size may block any use that breaks these terms or harms the service.
What you can reuse
The published summary tables (the brand list and each brand's labels for each base size, as shown on the method page and returned by the API) are licensed under CC BY 4.0: credit "Measured Size" and link to https://measuredsize.com/how-it-works.html. The code, the research notes, the page readers and the full brand data are private and not licensed.
That is the wording of the licence section of the method page, which also says how to cite Measured Size. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to Measured Size's code, research, data, name or icon.
Privacy
What each part of Measured Size saves, reads and sends is in its privacy policy.
Other companies' terms
- The stores whose listings the extension reads, the Chrome Web Store, and the directories and AI apps that list or connect to the MCP server have their own terms, which apply when you use them.
- Measured Size is not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any retailer or brand it reads or names. Their names are used only to say whose sizes or listings they are.
No warranties
Measured Size is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Measured Size makes no promises about it beyond what these terms say: not that its sizes are right for you, not that it is complete or free of errors, and not that it will always be available. Any part of it can change or stop at any time.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Measured Size is not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on its answers. That includes the cost of a bra that doesn't fit, returns, lost data, lost profits, and any indirect loss. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and you may have rights these terms can't take away.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
Measured Size may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the list below says what changed. Using Measured Size after a change means you accept the new terms.
